You provide your IP address and your email when registering to the site. IP is a necessary network protocol and your email is only used to verify your identity as a Berea College student. Your password is encrypted and is unreadable.

Anything else you choose to provide or upload will be stored on the server. If this is information that can be updated, it will be stored until you update it. If this is information that cannot be updated, it will be removed after a set period of time. While this information is stored on the server, it is accessible by other users in accordance to the targeting of the original content. This information is also accessible by Berea Chat's administrators if necessary.

You can request information deletion through your profile. Upon doing so, if you do not cancel the request, all information we have on you will be deleted in 7 days.

Signing up to use Berea Chat means you agree with this privacy policy.

Using the video or voice call functions means you agree that your information sent through them will fall under Agora Video Call's privacy policy.

Using the OpenAI powered bot means that your information directed at it will fall under OpenAI's privacy policy.
